I was very fortunate to grow up in the city of Palo Alto near San Francisco during the height of the famous music scene. Though still in high school my friends and I were able to go to venues like the original Fillmore Auditorium to see all the amazing bands of the day.

I aspired to be a pro musician and worked towards that goal for about 5 years until I was 21 years old when I chose to get a ‘real’ job to support my family. I have always continued to play music though and consider myself a ‘semi-pro’ at this point.
